Moving on to the 2nd Trimester!
We just came home from our 2 week vacation. What a refreshing time we had!! We had such a great time! We’ll be posting pics soon…
Ei has made it to the 2nd trimester! She is feeling much better now and starting to get used to “being pregnant”. She has gained some weight (or should we say…more than ever…ugh!) and her regular pants are starting to feel tight. It might be time for shopping! Our baby is doing well. We just had a check up with a doctor and everything seems to be moving along very well. Praise the Lord!
Our 13w5d baby :) Can you see the little fingers waving at you??

Next ultrasound will be in June. We will find out if it’s a boy or a girl. What is your guess??
Have a blessed day!
We have a cute bun in the oven!!
We would like to officially announce via the Internet… God has blessed us with a baby and Ei is 10 weeks pregnant!!! We have been praying and waiting for our little miracle for a while. We are overwhelmed with joy and excitement!!

Around 6 weeks, I started to feel nauseous and tired a lot (and hungry all the time!) I thought morning sickness would start in the morning, but for me it starts in the afternoon. Yikes!
Now we get to start showing off our little baby :) These pictures were taken at 9 weeks and 2days. At 9w2d, our baby was 24mm long and the heartbeat of 170 bpm. The baby should be a bit bigger by now. But even at 9 weeks, you can see the baby’s little head, hands and feet already!!

We will be updating periodically on our baby’s growth as well as our other exciting adventures that are coming up very soon :)
Holy week starts tomorrow on Palm Sunday. We are going to be quite busy with many church services, but we are praying that every person can prepare his/her heart to remember the suffering of our Savior for our sins and to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Have a blessed day!
Snow Storm ‘Nemo’
Even though we lived in Colorado for a couple years (2yrs for Miguel and 1 yr for me), I have never been stuck in the snow like we did this month. This storm was named ‘Nemo’. What a cute name….or NOT!!!
It started as a blizzard…..then the endless snow fall all night long.

This is what we woke up to the next day.

Then we opened our front door…

I had to follow after Miguel just to get out of our apartment! The snow was up to my mid thigh!

Our street was covered with snow and nobody had plowed yet…

My scion became an igloo!! The news reported that we had 32 inches in our town, but I felt like we had more…Can you find my car? lol

But I have to admit…it was pretty to look at….. at first :)

This was at our church….3 days later.

Although trying to get around in this massive snow was difficult and Miguel and I finally had to purchase a pair of real snow boots, I have so many things to be thankful for…
- We were safe (no slip and fall!!) and warm and didn’t lose electricity!
- We had a vehicle that got us around during and after the storm.
- Our street was plowed on the 2nd day (some people didn’t get plowed out for more than 4 days!).
- We had a great friend who was willing to take me to work (yes, I had to be at my second job during this crazy time) when I couldn’t get out of my street.
- We ended up having two snow days from work(school) which gave us time to relax at home.

Isn’t it such a beautiful sunrise? Well, we survived our first big snow in Long Island. I don’t wish for any more, but if it does, bring it on!!!!
Have a great week, everyone!
